Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge Review

Team Ninja’s Ninja Gaiden 3 tried a different approach to the bloodspilling franchise. Ultimately, the gamble didn’t pay off as sales were low and fans were outraged at the more moralistic gameplay that emphasised the worth of the lives you were cutting down.

Fast forward to the release of the Wii U, Nintendo announce that they’ll be publishing a complete reworking of Ryu’s adventure for their console.

Finally it emerges in January and, while it’s lacking in the deeper issues that were mentioned in the original, Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge is the title that any fan has been waiting for.
