Eurogamer Expo is the UKs largest games convention, held in Earls Court, London, it’s the annual event that everyone in the UK – that loves games – looks forward to attending so they can enjoy the latest and greatest games available.
Here’s a roundup of all the games I previewed at the event (many had already been done thanks to attending gamescom)
DmC – Ninja Theory have proved that they know how to handle a hot IP.
XCOM: Enemy Unkown – Firaxis transfer their addictive Civilization skills to a whole new ballgame
The Wonderful 101 – a quirky yet unrelenting game from the mind of Bayonetta and Devil May Cry.
Halo 4: Multiplayer – usurped from its throne by Call of Duty, Halo 4 is set to become King of the Hill once again.
New Super Mario Bros. U – really just more of the same.
Castlevania: Lords of Shadow – Mirror of Fate – harks back to the days of Castlevania‘s prime, while throwing in the gameplay of MercurySteam’s console epic.
Pikmin 3 – A wonderful window into the world between the blades of grass.
Assassin’s Creed III – Fort Wolcott demo – compared to the naval scenes, this is sneaking at its finest.
Fable: The Journey – potentially the first game that could use Kinect well
Need for Speed: Most Wanted – fast cars, shiny paint-jobs and the open road. What more could you want?
NintendoLand – is this collection of Wii U tech demos enough to steal the crown from Wii Sports‘ killer offering as a launch title.
Dream – an indie game from three University of Huddersfield students. This looks set to be one of the best indie titles of 2013.
Table Top Racing – from the man behind WipEout this addictive racer should take iOS by storm.
